After an initial 3-week experience in August 2023, Stefania and Paolo have become an integral part of our community, bringing added value and commitment to daily activities.
Stefania, known by everyone as "Mama Stef", takes care of everyone and does a great job. From preparing meals, to taking care of the garden and her beloved chickens, and many other tasks that require daily attention.
Paolo, on the other hand, is more focused on manual work outside, loves working with wood and always tries to make himself useful to complete the various projects in progress, always giving his 100% commitment.
The purpose of The Crossroads is to develop, recreate, dream, achieve, evaluate, transform, regenerate, work, improve, promote and generally to make the best out of our Heritage. We are working to transform an ancient urban villa into an eco community self sufficient Project thanks to the invaluable support of volunteers from all over the world.
The Peloponnese is a large peninsula located in southern Greece, separated from the mainland by the Gulf of Corinth and connected by the Corinth Canal. It has a rich and complex history that dates back to antiquity and played a crucial role in the development of Greek civilization.

By taking part in our project you will have the opportunity to meet new people who, just like you, want to explore the world, discover new cultures, learn new things and improve themselves thanks to experiences shared with all of us.
The Crossroads is all this, and much more!
We are focused on saving natural resources, recycling waste, creating compost, growing our own plant-based foods, and caring for the environment around us.
Meeting new people from other countries gives you the opportunity to open up to new ways of thinking, break down inequalities and prejudices. It's time to make new friends.
You will be involved in different types of activities, all simple and easily manageable, but which will test your skills allowing you to expand your competences and abilities.
Living in a community is different from living in your own home. You will learn to live with a group of people, where mutual respect is the basis of healthy coexistence.

We love to surround ourselves with people with a positive mentality and attitude.
There is always something to do at the villa and everyone tries to give their 100% to contribute to the common cause.
We are convinced that working together with the right intention can benefit anyone who participates in the proposed activities. It creates energy, unity and a spirit of initiative.
Every single volunteer who has been in our project has left a little piece of themselves here, and many little pieces are allowing us to achieve something great.
